Nicholas Pettas is a Canadian-born former professional kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He was born in Toronto, Canada in 1973, but spent most of his childhood in Athens, Greece. He has been practicing martial arts since he was a kid and has trained in several different disciplines such as karate, kickboxing, and Muay Thai.
Pettas made his professional debut in kickboxing in 1994, and over the years, he amassed a professional record of 42 wins, 25 losses, and 6 draws. He also competed in mixed martial arts and made his debut in 2000, where he scored a first-round TKO victory over Japanese fighter Makoto Ishikawa.
Pettas has fought in some of the most prestigious kickboxing promotions in the world, including K-1, where he competed against some of the biggest names in the sport, like Remy Bonjasky, Ernesto Hoost, and Ray Sefo.
After his fighting career, Pettas worked in different fields, such as acting and modeling. He also became an entrepreneur and started his own clothing line, Black Python. He currently resides in Tokyo, Japan, where he is also a TV personality and commentator for combat sports events.
